Community Food Drive in Copperwood: Giving Back Close to Home
One of the most rewarding parts of being involved in our local community is the opportunity to give back—especially alongside neighbors who care deeply about the place they call home.
Recently, we hosted a community food drive in the Copperwood neighborhood of Thousand Oaks, and the response was both humbling and inspiring. Thanks to the generosity of residents, we collected just over 200 pounds of food, all of which was donated to the local Manna food bank in Thousand Oaks.
From pantry staples to non-perishable essentials, every donation represented someone taking a moment to help a neighbor in need. It was a reminder that real impact doesn’t always come from big gestures—sometimes it comes from a bag of groceries and a willingness to participate.
Manna continues to play a vital role in supporting individuals and families throughout our area, and we’re grateful to be able to support their mission in a tangible way. Even more meaningful was seeing the Copperwood community come together with a shared purpose.
Thank you to everyone who donated, spread the word, or simply stopped to say hello. This is what community looks like, and it’s a privilege to be part of it.
If you’re interested in future community events or ways to get involved, stay connected—we’re just getting started.
